Gaston Gingras–Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club: Official Centennial Publication

gaston gingrasBeing a French-Canadian kid from Temiscaming, Quebec, we only had two TV stations — CBC French that had the Habs and CBC English that had the Leafs. Playing junior hockey in the OHA (Kitchener Rangers and Hamilton Fincups), we only had Leafs games, so I was always exposed to Maple Leafs hockey. I feel very proud and privileged to have played for the Leafs. I met many great people and learned the importance of being a Leaf. I feel so lucky to have had that chance! God bless Leaf Nation!
